One of my very first posts on The How-To Gal, way back in 2009, was about a
cute little bulletin board I made over. My tastes have changed a ton since those infamous pears, thank goodness, but that $3 bulletin board was the inspiration and starting point for my craft room's gallery wall. Almost everything on the gallery wall I crafted or upcycled in some way and I thought I'd share those projects with you today.
To create my frame display, I used the same process from the
Spider Bow Holder to create a web of yarn.
Guess what, you can make a bulletin board out of anything. I happened to have an old shelf kickin' around, so I chose it to become my next project. Cover your shelf with a layer of cork, wrap your fabric around it and staple into place. Attach a wire hanging kit to the back to hang on the wall.
Of course, this space is still a work in progress, but I'm happy everytime I look up at some of the things I've made. And, to me, that is the most important part of a space - to love being there.
